Literature Text
Airbrushed faces so unreal,
Just a doll that yearns to heal
So dead inside, 'friad to feel
No person there who can deal
Is that what you believe?
That you are unpretty?
No that isn't you, right?
Somewhere deep inside
You really do reside
And in that shell, where you hide
There's a presence to whom you confide
Whether it be the inner you
Or some being that you don't know who
It doesn't matter either way
So long as you say everyday
In your own special little way
That you are real
That you really do feel.
Just a doll that yearns to heal
So dead inside, 'friad to feel
No person there who can deal
Is that what you believe?
That you are unpretty?
No that isn't you, right?
Somewhere deep inside
You really do reside
And in that shell, where you hide
There's a presence to whom you confide
Whether it be the inner you
Or some being that you don't know who
It doesn't matter either way
So long as you say everyday
In your own special little way
That you are real
That you really do feel.
Another piece for theology that happens to be about the make-up people wear and what it hides, both physically and mentally but it however is not quite finished. It also goes along with the song Who we are by Hope Partlow.
